Travel for Black women, by Black women.
Black On Arrival is designing boutique, small-group trips for Black women who love their independence… but also love having someone to laugh with, get excited with, explore with, and make real memories with.
If you’ve ever been the friend who plans everything.
If you love solo travel but wish you had someone next to you saying, “Sis, look at this!”
If you want travel that feels safe, warm, and aligned with your energy.
Then yeah — you’re in the right place.
Our trips prioritize:
Ease, not chaos
Culture, not crowds
Connection, not cliques
Good food, good wine, good energy
Belonging without pressure
This trip is for you if…
You’ll feel at home here if:
You can travel anywhere alone, but you’re tired of doing it all alone
You want a group trip with grown-woman energy
You want to feel safe, relaxed, and cared for
You love good food, culture, and exploring beautiful places
You’re excited to meet aligned women
You want to leave a trip feeling like your world got bigger
And it’s especially for you if:
Your group chats haven’t produced an actual vacation in years
You want shared memories
You want to be in environments that celebrate Black women
You want connection without chaos
What you can expect
A 5-day, 4-night boutique travel experience… designed with you in mind.
We’re finalizing the destination now (it’s giving culture, food, wine, walkable neighborhoods, and a vibe)…
But here’s the energy we’re curating:
A small group of 33-45 year-old Black women
A welcome dinner to set the tone
A cultural food experience with local delights
A wine-forward day to slow down and enjoy
A full or mostly free day to wander or rest
A beautiful boutique hotel with charm
Ease-first planning — 1–2 activities per day
A photographer capturing the moments you’re in
Time to connect, reflect, and actually enjoy the experience
No chaotic schedules. No rushing from place to place.
Just space, joy, sisterhood, and travel done with intention.
Why we’re doing group trips
I’m Randi, the founder of Black on Arrival, and after years of traveling solo (especially during my recent 3-month sabbatical in Mexico City) — across cities, across continents — I realized something:
I loved the freedom, but I missed the moments.
The “Girl, look at this!”
The laughter at dinner.
The inside jokes.
The shared memories.
And honestly?
Planning everything alone started to feel like work.
Group chats weren’t aligning.
Friends were entering different seasons.
And I was over taking incredible trips with nobody to fully share them with.
So I created the thing I needed.
Black On Arrival group trips are for Black women who want to belong somewhere.
Who want ease.
Who want alignment.
Who want a trip that feels warm, joyful, and grown.
If that sounds like you… join the waitlist. This first trip is going to be beautiful.
